Contact the Ridge High School Guidance Department for assistance with your application. Recipients are selected by the Guidance Department, and ratified by the Fund's alumni board. Three main criteria have been established by Ridge AMS founders:
- One criterion is exceptional character, demonstrated by determination, good works, team play, and a positive outlook in the face of adversity.
- A second criterion is evidence of significant personal growth and improvement while at Ridge High.
- Finally, preference will be given to students for whom receipt of the scholarship award will make a difference in the student’s future, although it is not strictly a need-based award.

Scholarship awards may be applied to a variety of educational,
vocational, and related expenses. The amount of each scholarship will be determined by the scholarship fund’s board based on fundraising and earnings.
